Arkansans save money with $2 Day at the State Fair
Little Rock, Arkansas – The Arkansas State Fair is a hit with many families, but everything has a cost, of course.
Deal Days like $2 Deal Day allowed fairgoers like Codi Sellers to economize. Sellers declared, “I’d definitely advise people to come on a cheaper day.”
Parking and entering the gate cost $10 on a typical day, but on Monday, both costs were merely $2.
According to Jacob Wise, “It’s reasonably priced, especially in these economic times.”
Payton Adams said she was able to make 40 dollars go a long way, even though others might easily spend over 50 dollars on trips and meals.
I believe that $30 to $40 is a good range. $8 to $10 for lunch and whatever else you want, plus $5 for a drink,” Adams stated. “I had a ton of savings. I thought we would do three or two tickets, but they only did one.” Adams remarked, “I’m saving money on that.”
Leaders at the fairgrounds say they want to make sure families can continue to have a good time at a fair price, especially since this year’s attendance is smashing records.
Little Rock’s fair got underway on Friday, October 11, and it won’t end until Sunday, October 20. It will open at 11 a.m. every day.
Tickets can be bought online at ArkansasStateFair.com or at the box office at the fairgrounds.
