Benton County Sheriff’s Office deputy died due to Covid-19 in hospital in Thanksgiving Day

Benton County, Arkansas – Although the Covid-19 situation in Arkansas seems to be pretty stable in the last couple of weeks, we are still far away from the end of the pandemic.
According to multiple reports, Benton County Sheriff’s Office deputy is among the latest Covid-19 victims recently.
As KATV reported, the 39-year-old Joshua Pierson died in Thanksgiving Day in hospital where he was treated with complications of the virus.
The Benton County Sheriff’s Office confirmed in a statement that Pierson has been with the department since 2012.
