Fatal shooting in Monroe County apartment complex on Friday under investigation, one killed and one injured

Monroe County, Arkansas – One killed and another critically injured is the result of the shooting that took place on Friday in Monroe County that stemmed out of argument.
According to the incident report, the shooting took place at Monroe County apartment complex located at the 500 block of Pine Street. Holly Grove police officers responded at the scene, but they later contacted the Arkansas State Police around 5 p.m. asking for assistance.
One person was killed while another was injured and is still in critical condition. The 23-year-old Tyquan Parks was pronounced dead at hospital where he was transferred for treatment. The 24-year-old Michael Perry is still alive, but his condition is critical.
Officials said the investigation developed enough to authorize an arrest warrant that charged Rydarius Craig, 19, and Christopher Howton, both of Clarendon, with first-degree murder and first-degree battery.
Howton was arrested and is in custody at the Monroe County Detention Center. However, Craig is still at large.
Anyone with information that might lead to Craig is asked to call 911.
