Sad record: Arkansas reported the highest single-day number of Covid-19 cases since the start of the pandemic, report

Arkansas – Despite all the pandemic measures and massive vaccination efforts, today Arkansas added a new, record high number of Covid-19 cases in a single day.
According to the Arkansas Department of Health, the state of Arkansas added a total of 6.562 new Covid-19 cases on Tuesday.
In addition to the highest number of cases reported in a single day, Arkansas reported a total of 27 Covid-19 related deaths.
Since the start of the pandemic, the total number reported cases is 581,134, while the total number of Covid-19 related deaths reached 9,248.
Currently, there are 32,280 active cases across the state which is 5,118 more compared to the day before.
Fifty-three people were admitted to hospital infected with the virus and now the total number of hospitalizations is 775.
Three people more were put on ventilator support reaching a total of 118 people on ventilators.
These are the counties with the highest number of reported cases on Tuesday:
- Pulaski – 1,332
- Washington – 472
- Craighead – 439
