The city hosts a fun run with a Halloween theme
Paragould, Arkansas – On Saturday, the City of Paragould hosted ParaGhoul, their first-ever 5k race with a Halloween theme.
The racers appeared dressed in Halloween-themed outfits. A wide variety of outfits, including pets, were on exhibit.
Chris Collier, the race organizer, stated that their goal was to raise awareness of a nearby nonprofit and attract visitors to Paragould.
Collier stated, “We wanted to play off the name Paragould, and change it to ParaGhoul, have a Halloween-themed race, and everything like that. One of our main goals was to have fun, draw people to the great city of Paragould, and be able to support a local nonprofit that’s doing great work, and we just want to be a blessing to them.”
The Agape House, which supports individuals in their battle against addiction, receives all of the race’s revenues.
