Arkansas – The stable Covid-19 situation is behind us and the latest number suggest that the state might be entering another, winter wave.
According to the latest report issued on Friday by the Arkansas Department of Health, Arkansas added 1,093 new Covid-19 cases in Covid-19 statistics.
In the same report, 21 Covid-19 related deaths were added.
Since the start of the pandemic, Arkansas recorded a total of 537,461 cases. The total number of deaths is 8,831.
Currently, there are 8,393 active Covid-19 cases across Arkansas which is 431 more compared to the day before.
Eleven people more were hospitalize and now the total number of hospitalizations is 471. There are 98 people on ventilator support, which is 3 more compared to Thursday.
This is what Gov. Hutchinson said on Twitter: Today’s report shows new cases slightly lower than the same day last week. But with 21 additional deaths, we are very aware of the risk with COVID. It is good to see positivity rate decline slightly.
