Pine Bluff, Arkansas – Pine Bluff’s Saracen Casino Hotel is generating news as it continues to change the town and local economy.

The Saracen Casino has quickly grown to be a major driver of the local economy since it opened in 2020, and it is expected that the new hotel project, which is scheduled to be completed in the fall of 2025, will draw even more tourists.

CMO Carlton Saffa says, “What we’re doing at Saracen, they like our product, they like our sports bar, they like our table games, they like our poker room, and they want more.”

The casino has drawn guests from all around the state and beyond with its cutting-edge gaming facilities and an array of food options.

The Saracen Casino claims to have invested half a billion dollars in Pine Bluff since its founding and plans to invest more in the hotel.

“There is no doubt that the inauguration of the hotel will significantly increase the number of our regular customers. Because visiting Saracen just makes more sense when you can spend the night there.”

The proposed 15-story hotel would have 320 rooms, about half of which will be suites and an event center that can accommodate 1,600 people.

Since it would give them a convenient place to stay, it is expected that this development will draw tourists from several states.

“People who come to our casinos literally drive past them. That is the highest compliment there is. When someone travels from southwestern Mississippi to north Louisiana, it takes them an hour or two to reach us. It indicates that they find our offerings appealing.

With issue two still up for vote and Election Day just over a week away, Saffa says he is thankful that the residents of Pine Bluff have welcomed the casino.
