Man from Pine Bluff fatally injured in Friday accident
Pine Bluff, Arkansas – On Friday night, a fatal crash involving a single vehicle occurred in the northern part of the city. The victim was a man from Pine Bluff.
The preliminary investigation indicates that Eugene Spears, 43, was driving his 2012 Chevrolet Traverse in the direction of northbound traffic on North Magnolia Street when the vehicle slid off the road and into the ravine.
It was determined that he had passed away at the site.
The incident was said to have occurred at about 7:10 p.m. at the intersection of North Magnolia and Whiteside Streets, and the fatality was the 43rd one to occur on the state’s highways thus far in 2018.
