Driver in fatal single-vehicle accident in White County identified by authorities
White County, Arkansas – Authorities responded to a single-vehicle crash over the weekend that claimed the life of one man when a vehicle veered off the road and struck several trees.
According to the Arkansas State Police, the crash occurred on Morris School Road in White County, which is located north of Yerby Road, at around 1 a.m. on Saturday.
The investigation showed that a 2019 Jeep Cherokee traveling northbound went off the road, hit several trees and a fence, went into a ditch, and struck a culvert.
The driver of the vehicle was identified as 38-year-old Tristin Toler of Searcy. He was transported to Unity Health Searcy for treatment of injuries sustained in the crash. He succumbed to his injuries at the hospital.
Information about whether driving under the influence played a role was not released.
