Anonymous tip leads to arrest of Pine Bluff shooting suspect
Pine Bluff, Arkansas – Pine Bluff police have reported the arrest of the suspect linked to the fatal shooting that occurred on Monday night.
29-year-old Matthew Ferry, the prime suspect in the incident, was successfully apprehended by the Rogers Police Department. The decisive arrest was made possible thanks to an anonymous tip, underscoring the community’s role in assisting law enforcement in their pursuit of justice.
After his arrest in Bentonville, Ferry was transported back to Pine Bluff, where he is now facing charges. These include capital murder and first-degree battery.
This arrest follows the harrowing event at a residence situated in the 200 block of Griderfield Ladd Road. Police, upon responding to a shooting report, were confronted with a grim scene: 33-year-old Courtney Clary was discovered dead, while 39-year-old Samuel Stenberg was found injured.
