Little Rock police identified victims of Friday evening’s fatal shooting
Little Rock, Arkansas – The Little Rock police have identified the victims of Friday evening’s fatal shooting as a father and son duo. The deceased, identified by officials from the Little Rock Police Department on Monday, are Marvin Jenkins Sr., aged 47, and his 21-year-old son, Marvin Jenkins Jr.
The tragic incident unfolded near the junction of Mabelvale Drive and Mabelvale Circle. Authorities were alerted by a 911 call a little after 4:50 p.m. on Friday. Upon their arrival, officers discovered the father and son critically wounded from gunshot injuries. Despite swift efforts from medical personnel who immediately engaged in life-saving maneuvers, the duo unfortunately succumbed to their injuries right on the spot.
Following the grim event, the bodies of the Jenkins were transported to the Arkansas State Crime Lab, where autopsies will be conducted to provide further details on their deaths.
As the city grapples with the shocking incident, the hunt for the assailants continues. The police, while yet to unveil any information about potential suspects, emphasize that investigations are actively ongoing.
