Pine Bluff police officer hospitalized following a DUI head-on collision
Pine Bluff, Arkansas – A police officer was critically injured early Sunday morning in Pine Bluff. Officer Tiffany Wood, serving the community, was hit head-on by an SUV driven by an intoxicated person.

The incident unfolded around 5:00 a.m. when Officer Wood was responding to a disturbance call on University Drive. During her response, an SUV collided with her vehicle. The impact was severe, leaving Officer Wood in a critical condition. She was rushed to the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, where she is now in stable, yet critical, condition.
