First Ward Living Grace Food Pantry in Pine Bluff hosts a food drive
Pine Bluff, Arkansas – For some students, getting a healthy meal this week will be more difficult now that spring break has begun.
To assist families in filling that void, the First Ward Living Food Pantry in Pine Bluff hosted a food drive.
In addition, there was a BBQ and carnival, and hundreds of automobiles were parked before the event on Sunday afternoon.
Debra Allen, director of the pantry, expressed her gratitude for all of the assistance in the run-up to Sunday’s giveaway.
“Like I tell everybody, I know this is my dream, and all I do is pray so that I can make it come through,” Allen stated.
The pantry at the carnival also acknowledged Barbara Hawkins-Dunn and her family, who played a crucial role in assembling the groceries that were distributed today.
